Chase The Sun
The Australian heavyweight champions of Blues-rock shred have roots planted in the blues scene but have been letting their love of rock and roll fully hang out since forming in 2007. Crowd favourites at festivals all over the country, Chase The Sun infuse their take on the blues with loud guitar, blazing hard funk and a cranking 70’s southern rock feel.
Chase The Sun features the powerhouse delivery and soul-tinged song writing of guitarist Jan Rynsaardt combined with elements of acoustic blues, stoner rock Psychedelia and Stevie Ray Vaughn boogie – this three-piece crank out their own take on a classic sound.
Geoff Achison invokes the spirit of the great blues & soul artists to create an engaging original sound.

Mike Elrington is gifted with a songwriter’s sensitivity and creativity, incredible guitar skills, a fierce work ethic, a focused resolve and an admirable strength of character.
Standing at almost two metres tall, delivering his signature, gut-wrenching vocals like an instrument all its own, very few people forget a Mike Elrington performance. The commitment to his live shows and the well-earned reputation for leaving nothing behind but sweat has seen him invited to perform at some of Australia’s finest festivals, including the iconic BluesFest, Bendigo and Sydney Blues and Roots Festivals and Blues on Broadbeach to name but a few.
The past few years have been exciting for Elrington; personally with a recent marriage and fatherhood, and professionally; signing international publishing and management deals, receiving national airplay on Australian TV institution Neighbours (with his song Believe), performing in NZ, the US and the UK, and the recent release to US college radio of latest album Two Lucky Stars which has gained airplay across a number of states.
Lachy Doley Band
Lachy Doley is Australia’s most celebrated Blues Soul Rock Organ Player. He’s been dubbed the Jimi Hendrix of the Hammond Organ, a player who can pump, pamper and occasionally pound the most unbelievable sounds from a keyboard: sounds that are intense, ferocious and sometimes transcendent.
Lachy Doley has seen much of the world, recording and touring with acts as diverse as Powderfinger, Glenn Hughes, Steve Vai, Jimmy Barnes, The Beautiful Girls – more recently recording on a new album of Joe Bonamassa’s which came out in early 2015. It was 2010 though, that saw the birth of The Lachy Doley Group and they have been heavily recording and touring ever since.
The group’s last album “Conviction” has taken Doley onto the world stage reaching #5 on the UK Blues Broadcasters Charts, #1 on the Australian iTunes Blues Charts and #1 on the Australian Blues & Roots Airplay Charts. Along with the group’s 2 performances at the legendary BB Kings in Memphis in January, Doley has cemented himself as a world renowned Blues and Soul Artist
The Lachy Doley Group are a unique sound in the classic and sometimes very traditional genre of the Blues. A power trio consisting of Bass, Drums and of course Doley firing on the Hammond, his vocal screaming from the heart and the incredibly rare Hohner D6 Whammy Clavinet in which most people double take on when they realise that sound isn’t an electric guitar but a 70 stringed keyboard with a huge Whammy Bar sticking out the guts of it.
